Recorded in my backyard with an sm57.

In this sound track, someone is handling a bag of crisps with strong intent on making rumple noises. The motion is holding and folding the bag of crisps. The sounds has a metallic quality to it, the motion is done at random. Useful for sample slicing. It is recorded with a simple tie microphone and then edited on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

Two chimes colliding. Recorded in a very dry room with a mid-sides mic setup. Mics used were akg 414, and an oktava mk-012-01 pencil condenser.

Sorta out of tune and pitch but can probably be used for something in the background. Mid gain distortion with some vibrato.

Upper maxwell falls, evergreen, co, at the top of the falls. Recorded at dusk (~8:00pm) 2017-08-23, approximately 16'c, conditions clear. Recorded on back porch birds ambience etc. . . Chain: rsm4 & pdmic45 > art usb dual pre > zoom h1 @ 44. 1 24 > reaper > flac @ 44. 1 16 and dither level 6. Signal chain is: pyle pdmic45 condenser sent to left channel of an art usb dual pre mic preamp. . . Right channel nady rsm4 plus 20 db selected. . . Both channels sent to a zoom h1. . . Post done in reaper. Phase flip and panned figure of 8 to sides and left condenser mono for mid side.

I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.

1:40 field recording of exterior daytime environmental insects in the grass, with some day birds in the distance. Hint of an aircraft later at very far perspective. Edited to remove intrusions, and not recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics.
